Majorel Georgia donates school necessities to children in need

Majorel has always been at the forefront of promoting education, lifelong learning opportunities for all, equality, and inclusion within and beyond Majorel communities across the world.

Majorel Georgia Takes Powerful Initiative

To encourage children with needs to pursue their school studies and promote their social integration within a classroom, our team from Majorel Georgia has taken a powerful initiative. The goal of the Back-to-School initiative is to congratulate the schoolchildren on the start of the new school year and sponsor them with school necessities.

“Supporting education remains one of the top priorities for Majorel Georgia. Every day, we uphold our company’s main slogan – ‘Driven to gfurther’ and spare no effort to support education opportunities for people in need,” says Alexander Mironenko, Country Manager of Majorel Georgia.

This is the second year the Back-to-School campaign was carried out by the team in Majorel Georgia. This year, in the face of the Covid 19 Pandemic, the Back-to-School event was less festive in comparison to the last year, to ensure the safety of the children. The positive feedback from the local community motivates us to continue the campaign and support education in Georgia.

Our strategy is to have, as a result of our initiatives, a positive impact on the community that builds our organization and the local community as well. Over the last years, social initiatives supporting education have become a tradition for the local team. We are always eager to come together and work as a one team for such a great purpose. We want to help creating an environment where we encourage hope, kindness, and support. After carrying out the Back-to-School campaign for two years in a row, I feel more motivated to further contribute to the prosperity of the local community,” says Nini Onezashvili, Branding and Communications Specialist at Majorel Georgia.

Majorel, operating in Georgia since 2016, has actively been involved in community support initiatives, as part of the Feel Good program. Most of the programs are recurring every year, such as:

  • BacktoSchool donation in collaboration with Georgian-German Center, Social Service Agency and Kutaisi City Hall
  • Supply support to families in need, Kutaisi in collaboration with Georgian-German Center, Social Service Agency and Kutaisi City Hall.
  • Sponsored German Language Courses for young people in collaboration with Georgian-German Center.
  • Internal fundraising – Hand in Hand for Children in collaboration with a non-governmental organization Anika
