As part of our global corporate social responsibility framework, we commit to support and give back to local communities around the world. Today, we talk about Christmas initiatives that our colleagues have carried out in Poland and India to support and bring Christmas cheer to the old and young in need.
The Christmas campaign in Poland, ‘Santa Claus for Senior’ aims at bringing holiday spirit and cheer to the local nursing home. With this goal in mind, our colleagues in Poland have come together as #OneTeam to give a helping hand.
“We believe, kindness is contagious and the current pandemic did not stop us bringing joy to others for Christmas. As part of ‘Santa Claus for Senior’, we have collected letters from the elderly people in the local nursing home and based on the wish list donated necessities. Apart from that, we have filled up their holidays with lots of sweets, candies, chocolates, and tea. Such simple acts of kindness bring us the most purpose and fulfilment,” says Dominika, Project Line Manager at Majorel Poland.
In India, our team has launched ‘Be a Santa’ campaign to help unprivileged street children in Gurgaon, India. We’ve partnered with the local non-governmental organization, YATAN which supports and empowers socially and economically vulnerable children and women.
As part of the campaign, our team at Majorel India has placed a Christmas wish tree at the office. The tree included wishes from 60 unprivileged street children from India. Our colleagues have come together to fulfil their wishes by donating gifts, sweets, and other necessities.
Caring for the welfare of local communities is our global commitment that we, as #OneTeam, all contribute to. Majorel Georgia has recently carried out a similar campaign, ‘Hand in Hand for the Elderly’ donating funds to the local charitable organization and cheering up the holiday season with love and kindness.
