China is an extraordinary country, a perfect blend of ancient traditions and modernized lifestyle. It is one of the oldest civilizations on the planet and also, the world’s fastest-growing economy. China has something to offer everyone, from the Great Wall to modern skyscrapers, theaters and art, ancient temples, museums, and parks! In this article, we put the spotlight on Majorel in China and tell you the story of our organization in this amazing country.
Our local team opened the first office in Shanghai in 2001. Over the years, we’ve opened new offices across the country, expanded our team, and added more clients from the fashion, high-tech, FMCG and other industries to our local client portfolio. Currently, our team of more than 5000 professionals is spread across 9 cities: Beijing, Xi’an, Xuzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Neijiang. We deliver customer support, tech support and expert services in 2 languages and serve some of the top worldwide known brands. Our local team has particular expertise in Tech & Expert Services and has pioneered proprietary digital solutions for Digital Consumer Engagement as a part of Majorel’s global CX portfolio.
In all Majorel locations around the world, including China, we support Majorel’s four-pillar approach to Corporate Responsibility, and take numerous actions for the wellbeing of our people, society, and the environment. Recently, our colleagues in China have joined efforts to help children with Autism Spectrum. Throughout the year, our colleagues in China carry out various activities to make workdays more engaging, productive and, of course, exciting. They come together to celebrate different occasions such as Family Day, Chinese New Year, Christmas, etc. On an ongoing basis, they take part in sports and wellbeing activities on site and professional development workshops and lectures – online.
