What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when thinking of Italy? Ancient architecture? Fashion? Or maybe great food? Italy has it all. This beautiful country situated in south-central Europe is rich in history and culture, architecture, art, and is famous for its delicious cuisine. In Italy, Majorel operates in three major cities: Rome, Turin, and Milan, also known as Italy’s industrial, commercial, and financial capital. In this article, we shine a spotlight on our amazing local team and show you what life at Majorel in Italy is all about.

Majorel Italy: History & Key Figures

Italy joined the Majorel world in 2008, when we opened the first office in Milan. Since then, our local team has grown and developed on the local market, having gained both international and local brands as clients. Currently, our team operates from three cities – Milan, Rome, and Turin and unites more than 500 talents. They deliver a wide range of customer support services in seven languages to some of the top brands in Travel, E-commerce, Automotive, Insurance, Beauty, and other industries.

Corporate Responsibility Actions Across Italy

Raising awareness on key social and environmental issues is a top priority for our team in Italy. Adhering to Majorel’s four-pillar approach to Corporate Responsibility, they had two impressive campaigns lately for women’s empowerment and the environment.

They started a quiz, Knowledge = Empowerment on powerful and inspiring women in history to celebrate some of the legendary women from across the ages and some milestones on the theme. As part of the campaign, they selected a charity organization and donated for each submitted quiz entry. In total, 175 team members donated to D.i.Re – Donne in Rete contro la violenza, the National Anti-violence Network run by women’s organizations.

In collaboration with Treedom, our team in Italy supported tree-planting initiative and contributed to greening the planet. Also, for six months, they’ve been running an awareness campaign to promote sustainability at work. In the end, they launched a contest for the most inspiring and green project.

#FeelGood at Majorel Italy

As part of Majorel’s global wellbeing and engagement initiative, the Feel Good Program, our colleagues in Italy implemented different ideas to make work more exciting and rewarding. With their recent initiative, Respect, Diversity, and Inclusion Campaign, they celebrated their unique personalities and contributed to strengthening the culture of diversity and inclusion at work and beyond.

On an ongoing basis, the team organizes different kinds of employee recognition initiatives to reward achievements and support career and professional development within the team.
