Job Title: Detection Agent – Fluent Polish
Reporting to:
Team Lead
Location:
Kraków, Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Search the internet daily for any potentially damaging issues and user risks
  • Log leads found via open source intelligence, allowing stakeholders to take action
  • Assist on ad hoc projects aimed at preventing product abuse for the client
  • Monitor situations and provide up-to-date information cross-functionally
  • Work with analysts to research various topics and keywords to provide early warning signals for current events and trends happening globally
  • Acknowledge and staying up to date on all team process updates

Minimum Qualifications (besides your team’s minimum qualifications): 

  • BA/BS degree. The ideal candidate will have majored in political science, journalism, international relations, history, English or a related field
  • Fluent in English and Polish (Speaking/Writing/Reading)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams with senior stakeholder and executive visibility
  • Calm under pressure, with an ability to function well in urgent, developing situations
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Google products, its brand, infrastructure, and types of online abuse 
  • Understanding of international and geopolitical events and how they may impact a global company 
  • Strong technical competency, with a data-driven analytical approach toward observing developing trends 
  • Strong interest in the internet, pop culture, news media, history and current events 
  • Expertise with Internet technologies and related policy and regulatory environments
  • High degree of initiative and deadline-driven productivity
  • Customer service/client experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge, education, experience or interest in Open source Intel gathering and social media monitoring is a plus
