Iaryna’s career story
“I started at Majorel in 2017 as a CSR in the Ubisoft project. It was a challenge for me back then: technology and gaming weren’t the things I knew much about, but was very excited to learn. I embraced the challenge and decided to become a professional in what I was doing. It was quite a path, different teams, different tasks and at some point I felt that I could do more. Having a background in International Business Management I always knew I wanted a role in the management team, and I knew I loved to work with people. It has always thrilled me to see one’s career path evolve and be a part of this evolution.
At some point in 2019 the position of Team Manager for Russian team was open. Even though the position required an experienced candidate, I knew I had to get this job. I felt it was the time and my team also wanted me to succeed. I couldn’t let them down. So I applied and was entrusted to do the job and fill the position.
At that moment I realised everyone in Majorel had a chance to get what they wanted. As a Team Manager I was able to do what fascinates me the most – to help the team and myself reach our goals and grow professionally and personally. I always had support from both my superior and representatives of other departments. Testing new approaches, improving existing processes, learning and experimenting different methods in order to achieve excellence, it was all possible and encouraged.
After around 2 years leading the Russian team and the multilingual team I was invited to embrace another challenge and become an Operations Manager for our newest sports project! Right now it is my duty to make it a happy, safe and respectful place for people to work in and I feel a huge responsibility to help it succeed.
It didn’t take me long to realize that whether you have experience or not, no matter what’s your age, gender, background or religion – you will be given opportunity here in Majorel if you’re looking for one. You will be given a chance to prove yourself. The fire in your eyes will be noticed. You will be allowed and encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them. You will be challenged and appreciated. You will be seen as a human being not just human power. Your efforts will be recognized. Your creativity will be endorsed. Your will to learn will be supported. And you will be given credit for your work.
My path with Majorel has been an interesting but not an easy one! I worked hard to get to where I am now by doing my best every day. And that is a choice anyone can make. I’m confident without a shadow of a doubt that everyone with a desire to work for their goals will be able to achieve them here in Majorel, and will be rewarded for their efforts like I was myself.”
